I began practicing yoga as an effort to keep my body sound and safe to dance, but quickly began using yoga as a method to keep my mind, heart and soul sound and safe for life. I believe fully in the power of yoga to maintain the holistic health of our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual selves, and I am particularly interested in sharing this transformative practice with young dance students and dance professionals.
While I primarily teach for dancers, I welcome the opportunity to guide and practice with any and all who are looking for a little more love and light in their life. New this Fall (2023) I am teaching open drop in classes with The Click rotating Thursday mornings from 10-11:30am! I will be taking a break from December 2023 to March 2024, but The Click will continue to offer these classes led by Alexandria Nunweiler during this time. MINDFUL MAY: Virtual and Available By Donation
Mindful May is a 31-day yoga and mindfulness program designed to help you reflect, reorient, and reactive your mind, body and spirit as we head into the warmer months. Each day of the week features a unique class, ranging from 10-60 minutes in length, and varying in degree of physicality. Each practice, whether an exercise in journaling or a sweat-inducing vinyasa flow, is grounded in the belief that turning inward and acknowledging where we are in this moment in time allows us to achieve more awareness, more calm, and an increased sense of self overall.
Most classes are accompanied by custom, commissioned music from local legend Rob Flax, and one week will feature offerings from a range of local yogis I have had the pleasure of connecting with over the past few months.
I am offering this program by donation, with a suggested donation of about $3 per class. All donations should be made through my profile on Buy Me A Coffee.
It is my goal to make movement experiences more accessible to the general public. As such, no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please pay what you can: no more, no less.
I hope to be offering more open yoga experiences soon. Be sure to follow me on Instagram for more information and updates!
